Eco Agriseeds Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated on 28th December’2004. The company is engaged in Research, Production, Processing and Marketing of wide range of hybrids in Maize, Pearl Millet, Sorghum, Paddy, Wheat, Cotton and Vegetables such as Chili, Okra, Gourds, etc.
Research and Development is a continuous process and is very important for the consistent success in seed industry. We at our R & D always try to develop superior varieties with high yield potential, pest & disease tolerance and suitable to rainfed as well as irrigated conditions along with value added traits. Development of new varieties through plant breeding & biotechnology is very important factor for providing suitable prorducts to the farmers and support them to achieve to better prodctivity.
The company initiated variety development program in Pearl Millet, Corn, Rice and in vegetables such as Hot pepper, and Okra etc. We have created infrastructural facilities in terms of land & conditioned storage for maintaining germplasm & breeding materials along with its multiplication, yield trials and grow out test.
The Research farm of the company is located at Sy.No.46. of Anthaipally Village, Thumkunta Mandal, RangaReddy dist. Hyderabad. The total area under research and Development is around 25 acres where breeding activities like hybridization & crossing, germplasm evaluation, screening lines, breeding and multiplication of parental seeds of both field and vegetable crops are being carried out.
